Resist the Temptation to Squeeze Pimples!

bestskincarehelp acneAcne is by far the most common skin problem that brings women and even men to the dermatologists. Professional help ensures that acne, in the mild and severe forms gets minimized as far as possible, leaving behind a minimal amount of scars.

However, if you are one of those who just can’t resist touching and squeezing your pimples, sit up and listen. Fiddling with or forcibly squeezing pimples can actually cause permanent scarring of the skin, which is definitely more traumatic than having an ugly looking scar itself. Easier said than done, but it is important that you do not get into the allurement of getting rid of that horrible looking pimple right away, by simply squeezing it.

Instead, what you can actually do is to keep an acne stick handy. This is a kind of cosmetic which looks like a pen and can be just applied on the pimple like a dot. Also, keep the specialized anti acne creams and ointments at hand, which will help you resist the temptation till you reach your doctor.

When to Worry about Acne?

bestskincarehelp acneAcne has come from being a mere teenage concern to almost an epidemic today. With increased beauty awareness, even the adolescents do not want to live with this menace anymore and want to do all they can to save themselves from acne.

If you too are prone to suffer from this skin problem, then first determine your skin type. Chances are that you have an oily skin or a normal one. Whatever your skin type is, it is alright to have a pimple or two now or then. But you really need to worry when you are developing a new pimple, papule or even a couple of new blackheads everyday.

If every morning you get up and see a few new spots, that too with a scary red color, its time you took note. Stop using any faulty soaps and cosmetics right away and consult a good dermatologist. If you do not attend to them in time, acne can actually lead to more serious skin diseases, curing which will then be a major task.
